Tranzfr Privacy Policy

Tranzfr ("the app", "we") is an app for splitting group trip expenses, developed by North Kraken Studio. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

1. Data we collect

• Account: your email and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile photo from Google.
• In-app profile: the display name you choose for each group.
• Content you create: group/trip names, expenses, amounts, categories, payments recorded between members, and optionally a photo for the group.
• Purchases: if you unlock paid features, Google Play handles the payment; we only receive confirmation that the purchase was completed, never your card details.

2. How we use this data

• Show you your groups, expenses, and balances with other members.
• Allow people you invite to a group to see your name and participation in shared expenses.
• Send you operational emails (account verification, password recovery).

3. Who we share data with

We don't sell your data. Data is stored with Supabase (cloud database infrastructure) and, if you purchase a paid feature, with Google Play Billing to process the payment. Members of a group you belong to can see your name, the group photo, and the expenses/payments within that group.

4. Data retention and deletion

We keep your data while you have an active account. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing hi@northkraken.studio.

5. Security

Access to data is protected through authentication and database-level security rules (Row Level Security), so only members of a group can see its content.

6. Children

Tranzfr is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under that age.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If there are significant changes, we'll let you know within the app.
